1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you voluntarily provide to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, express interest in our services, or contact us.

Information we collect includes:

  • Names and email addresses
  • Account credentials (passwords are securely hashed)
  • Payment information (processed securely via Stripe)
  • Usage data and service preferences

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive personal information such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, genetic data, or biometric data.

Social Logins. We offer the option to register using third-party social media accounts (such as Google). If you choose this option, we receive certain profile information from your social media provider, including your name and email address.

HTML & Content Data. When you use our API to generate PDFs, we process the HTML, CSS, and other assets you send us to render the document. This content is processed ephemerally in volatile memory for the sole purpose of generating the PDF and is not permanently stored on our servers.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your personal information for various purposes, depending on how you interact with our services:

  • Account management. To create and manage your user account, including authentication and access control.
  • Service delivery. To provide, maintain, and improve our PDF generation services.
  • Communication. To send you service-related notifications, updates, and respond to your inquiries.
  • Security. To protect our services and users from fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
  • Legal compliance. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and cloud infrastructure hosting.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Do We Use Third-Party Services?

Yes. We use trusted third-party cloud providers to power our infrastructure. These include:

  • Cloudflare (CDN and Edge Computing)
  • Stripe (Payment Processing)
  • Fly.io / AWS (Compute Infrastructure)

Ephemeral Processing. Your document content is processed in isolated, ephemeral environments. We strive to process data as close to the edge as possible to minimize latency and data transit.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Document Content. We do not verify or commit to storing the content of the PDFs you generate. The source HTML and the resulting PDF are typically discarded immediately after the request is completed, except in cases of error logging or debugging where ephemeral logs may be temporarily retained for a short period (typically less than 7 days).

6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Secure password hashing
  • Regular security assessments
  • Access controls and authentication

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access. Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
